Published by JPA

This programme covers Team Leading at level 2 and Management at level 3

The level 2 qualification is suitable for job roles in any sector that involve team leading responsibilities and at this level learners can expect to be working as a team leader.

The Level 3 qualification is suitable for job roles in any sector that involve management and leadership responsibilities and at this level learners they can expect to be working as a supervisor or first line manager.

There are 3 open programme starts per year:  September, January and April and in addition the programme can be delivered in house on employer premises for groups of between 10-15 learners.

This programme is fully funded for adults aged 19 or over, who are in employment.

Learners will attend a 2 day induction followed by monthly workshops as follows – Level 2 learners will attend a further 5 full day monthly workshops, and level 3 learners a further 8 workshops, covering all knowledge required for the development programme.

The monthly workshops will develop the learners’ knowledge and enable them to put into practice and reflect on what they have learned between workshops.  This practice will then be reviewed at the next workshop, although assessors will be available between workshops for help, support and guidance.  Assessors will also visit the workplace for on the job mentoring, observation and professional discussion.  This reduces time away from the workplace and integrates the learning into the job role, allowing learners to put into practice what has been learned, and to review and improve on their performance.

This programme enables achievement of Level 2 Edexcel BTEC Team Leading Intermediate Apprenticeship or Level 3 Edexcel BTEC Advanced Management Apprenticeship.

The dates for the September start will be finalised by the end of July and the venue will be in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
